Pleasingly old school (quite literally; who didn’t at some point wear a gingham uniform?), checks are as classic as they come. We love them all the year round: they’re fresh for spring – there really is nothing lovelier than an al fresco gingham tablecloth – and then, in a darker colour palette, cosy and comforting once autumn rolls around again. These are our favourite breezy checks for the incoming season.
