Whether you’ve been locked down with her, in the same bubble, or you’re parted and missing her terribly, the chances are that you have even more reasons than usual to be thankful for your mum this year. This Mother’s Day will, alas, fall in lockdown, but there’s no reason not to show your appreciation with a thoughtful gift as a token of thanks for all that she does or, indeed, as a reminder of your affection until we can, one day at last, meet again.
