If, like us, your feet have been strangers to the sky-high heel for some time now, you may want to start limbering up once more. We’ve ridden the crest of the trend towards flats – from plimsolls to ballet pump to the full gamut of trainers from the chic to the ugly – and though our feet have very much thanked us for it, lately a tugging nostalgia for the all-out party looks of the noughties has begun to win out.
