Pearl Lowe is a former singer who is now known for her love of vintage interiors and fashion. In 2001, she launched ‘Pearl Lowe’, her signature range of lace curtains and cushions and in 2005, Pearl moved to the countryside where she began designing her own bespoke handmade dresses that were sold in Liberty’s and boutique shops in London. A luxury children’s dress-up collection, sold in Harrods and Selfridges, followed. Alongside her textiles work, Pearl has also designed interiors for many private clients. Her first book, Pearl Lowe’s Vintage Craft, was released in 2013, and yesterday, she released its beautiful follow-up Faded Glamour. Pearl is based in Frome, Somerset.

My favourite website... Soho Home - I look on this website everyday. Everything they produce is so stylish.

My favourite app... National Rail - As I’m forever on trains. It’s such a great app. It lets you know if your train has been cancelled and what platform to go to. I use it more than any other app.



My favourite blog... Rachel Ashwell - I love following her life in pictures, she has the best style.

My internet hero... Helena Christensen - I think she is extraordinary. She is still modelling as much as she was back in the day. Her photography is beautiful. I just love following her.

My favourite podcasts... Sophie Robinson and Kate Watson Smyth’s The Great Indoors - Not only do they have great taste, but they are seriously funny too! It’s a great podcast if you love interiors.



My most recent buy online... Coco & Wolf Liberty sheets - I’m obsessed with this brand. I have so many of their duvet sets. They’re so pretty.

Book just downloaded/ read... Dani Shapiro’s Inheritance - I literally could not put this book down. I love reading a real life story and Dani Shapiro’s is fascinating.

Favourite tweeter... Hugh Grant! - I love his political views and all the work he has done with phone hacking. He also cracks me up!!

Favourite instagrammer... I love Ben Pentreath - He posts the most divine pictures of his interiors and his heavenly house in Dorset.



Social media allowed me to meet... A vast amount of wonderful people from all over the world. It has also allowed me to have an online business, which I am so grateful for.

The best digital advice I've been given... Never write anything you will regret one day, as it will always be up there. I have to remind myself of this often.

My screensaver... A picture of my four kids.

My pet hate online... Those who use social media to rant. There is enough negativity in the world. We do not need to read anymore!!!
