No one on the high street does chic minimalism like Cos does it. Everything the retailer touches has a whiff of Issey Miyake about it, its colour blocks unapologetic, and its cuts streamlined and sharp rather than soft. A good Cos purchase invariably looks more expensive than it is which, after all, is the holy grail of a high street spree. The transitional season pieces have begun coming in and we’re already smitten. From slouchy wide-leg trousers to oversized shirts; from bold prints to classic monochrome; from pleats to jewel-bright accessories, it has everything we need for taking us striding straight through into early autumn in style.
