There is something about whittling down one’s essentials to the bare minimum and transferring them from our day-to-day bags into a clutch that always puts us in a party mood. All we need is a lipstick, keys and phone – possibly an eyeliner at a push for touch-ups on the go; the rest is the superfluous-to-fun stuff of our ordinary lives. And, unburdened by the rest of our paraphernalia, we are free, unencumbered and ready to dance the night away.
