What’s on the wish lists of those with an impeccable eye for style? This Christmas, we’ve turned to interior designers and tastemakers to discover the gifts they’re dreaming of. From covetable objets d’art to sparkling baubles, these are the chic beauties their hearts so desire.

Set Of 4 Fine-art Prints By Veronique Villaret

These are on top of my list, the only thing that I have put on so far! I have long had my eye on these Veronique Villaret prints – they are just so bold, joyous and uplifting. The combination of the colours means that they will enhance any wall space no matter how small or dark. I’m just hoping someone will get the hint!

Handpainted Soleil Bowl

I am obsessed by this bowl imported from Denmark. I love it for this time of year full of clementines or pomegranates, and it’s fantastic for floating flowers. It’s almost never on the shelf in our house. My other favourite present to give this Christmas – something that is my go-to for several people – is Tomato Leaves soap from LOEWE. It seems quite expensive but lasts for AGES! I’ve had mine for two months and have hardly made a dent in the large bottle.

Hello Sailor Starfish Diamond Pendant

Emma would love some Jessica McCormack jewellery, although someone might need to win the lottery before Christmas Day! Also, a set of Murano glass champagne flutes I saw in Venice recently. Bunny would like a horse – she seems to collect them!

The Christmas Paperwhite Winter Wonderland

As with every Christmas, this year my only request is for a bunch (or two) of Christmas paperwhites. The smell of these around the house at Christmas is as much of a tradition to me as Christmas pudding, reminding me of Christmases past with my Grandma when I was young. If by chance Graeme doesn't come up with the goods in the run up to Christmas, then my favourite online store for them is Scented Narcissi.

Bed

I've been eyeing up the Auberon four-poster bed from Jamb for years, but I think this navy Harlequin Bow Jersey from Alex Gore Brown is more realistic! Can I have both?

Kate Howells, MD & Designer, Cabbages & Roses

Single-Wick Holiday Candle Copy

I would adore this Ralph Lauren candle for Christmas as Mama always got one every year, so it smells like my Christmases growing up.

Chunky Moss Wool Sweater

What I would really like and mean the most to me would be a peaceful Christmas with my girls. We aren’t doing many presents this year as it’s been an expensive year with weddings. However, if I was to choose one luxury item for my cottage it would be the Adler Luxury Leather Storage Basket from Laura Hammett Living. And if it was one luxury item for me, it would be a Chunky Moss Sweater from Bamford. I won’t be given either, but a girl can dream!

Crescent Moon Diamond & Blackened Gold Single Gypset Hoop Earrin

I would love some really sparkly jewels! I’ve been drooling over Jessica McCormack’s catalogue for the last month and would love anything from there – I especially love this Crescent Moon Diamond & Blackened Gold Earring. Or this necklace and T-bar from Lucy Delius.

Under A Grand 2024

I’ve been coveting this throw by Christopher Farr for some time. It has the most gorgeous yarns and colours in it – perfect for my home. I’m also always on the quest for small pictures as we don’t have that many big walls in our house. The perfect present would be a Catherine Cazelet painting from Grandy Art’s ‘Under a Grand Show’. To pull out all the stops, I can’t resist this stunning poncho from De Le Cuona. It’s hard to beat their luxurious fabrics and I’m sure this poncho will feel both cosy and chic.

Luna Diamond Necklace

Sometimes I think maybe I should be one of those people content with their lot rather than always wanting more. But I’m like a moth to a million flames. I hunt, I gather, and I treasure it all. Tippety top of my list is pretty much anything by Lucy Folk, but something from her recent Luna collection especially. This half-moon white diamond pendant is the one. In second place would be something for my trotters: specifically, these yellow and brown beauties by Flower Mountain.

Set Of 5 Eaux De Toilette Copy

This bushy tailed squirrel by Tabby Booth. I love its naive folk art-inspired style – and the use of sgraffito technique adds a lovely texture. Small enough to easily slot into a gallery wall, it's the kind of picture I could happily hang anywhere.

Jewellery that you can wear for every occasion like these gorgeous bracelet stacks from Annabelle’s Collection. They look so good sitting tight on the wrist. The amethyst beads add a subtle dash of colour. Informal yet smart.

Do Son is my favourite fragrance by Diptyque. It is the most wonderful scent of tuberose. But I also enjoy trying something new and their miniature bottle sets of five scents would be just the ticket for when I am off on my travels.
