Established by life-long friends Sophie Salisbury and Celia Foot in 2021, British self-care brand Reia is on a mission to remove single use plastic from the bathroom without compromising on style or quality.
By creating a vegan, 98.5% naturally derived, cruelty-free, refillable hand and body wash subscription the goal is to find a design-led and sustainable solution to the beauty industry’s reliance on single-use plastics.
Created by a team of natural formulations experts in Dorset, England, the signature scent is a delicate blend of Lime Leaf, Vetiver and Amber and made without: SLS, SLES, Silicones, Parabens, Mineral oils and Harsh detergents.
With a reuse and return system, The idea is simple: Reia subscribers select a starter kit and save 20%. This includes a sea-green glass ‘forever’ bottle to refill at home using specially designed refill pouches that arrive through the letterbox every two or three months depending on usage. Environmentally conscious at every level, empty pouches are printed with a free returns label for repurposing into new products with recycling partner Enval.
The founders say that consumers avoid 33g of plastic ending up in landfill every time they do this, and the small efforts add up to a huge collective effect.
Choose from a selection of hand care in either Juniper, Petitgrain, Rose Geranium or Lime leaf, Vetiver, Amber or body care.
There are also some pretty gift options.
Kind to your skin and the planet: vegan, natural and refillable hand and body care.
