PRIZE T&Cs

1. The winner of The GWG Website of the Year can run an advertising campaign on The GWG for a length of time, to be agreed, between February 2024 and October 2024, on both The GWG and to its email subscribers, worth in excess of £4000. This is in addition to the £2000 worth of advertising on the Website of the Year Award channel for the remainder of 2024.

GENERAL T&CS

1. This competition is run by The Good Web Guide Ltd, Rubine House, Manor Road, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 0EP.
2. The closing date is 11.59 p.m. on Sunday 7th January 2024. The Good Web Guide reserves the right to change the closing date at its discretion.
3. All entrants must agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined on this page, ensuring that they are adhered to and that the sites comply with the award requirements.
4. The competition is open to businesses and non-profit organisations that have been up and running for at least six months and are accessible via standard web browsers. Category winners and shortlisted sites from previous GWG Awards are eligible to enter this year's.
5. The Good Web Guide will announce category winners, with one overall winner drawn from all categories. The winner of The People's Choice will be voted for by the public. The judges' decision is final. Runner up sites may be highly commended at The Good Web Guide's discretion.
6. A completed online entry will by acknowledged via a confirmatory email.
7. The Good Web Guide reserves the right, after consultation with the entrant, to move submissions to a more relevant category, if deemed appropriate.
8. The judges' decisions are final and binding; and no discussions or correspondence will be entered into relating to any of their decisions.
9. Sites that are pornographic or offensive are not eligible for entry.
10. The winners will be announced on social media in February 2024, on a date to be confirmed.
11. The prizes are non-refundable and non-transferable. No cash or prize alternatives are available.
12. By entering this competition, we ask for your name and email address so we can administer the Awards programme in an efficient manner, with details of updates, dates of key announcements and so on. In some instances, we will share articles with entrants from companies associated with the Awards, that we believe you will find interesting. If at any time you choose to opt-out of receiving such updates, you may unsubscribe or email customerservices@thegoodwebguide.co.uk asking to be removed from the list. Please see our Privacy Policy and GDPR legislation.
13. By entering this competition, you are agreeing that, if you win, your name and image may be used for the purpose of announcing the winner in any related publicity, without additional payment or permission.
14. Any information you give us will be used solely for this competition and will not be disclosed to any other parties.
15. All entrants will be added to the GWG mailing list and will be emailed during the course of the Awards with updates and information on the Awards' timetable of events.
16. Any application containing incorrect, false or unreadable information will be invalid.
17. The Good Web Guide Ltd. excludes all liability, so far as is permitted by law, which may arise in connection with this competition and reserves the right to cancel or alter the competition at any stage.
18. Under no circumstances will The Good Web Guide Ltd. be liable for any loss, damages, costs and expenses arising.
