Never has there been a year that we remember being this excited for spring and summer. There may not be any exotic holidays to day dream about, but the mere fact of the world opening up to resume some semblance of normality has us daily fantasising like mad about simple things, such as having a coffee with a friend in a café, or wandering into our favourite neighbourhood restaurant for a casual dinner. When all this finally happens, we are determined not to be wearing the old T-shirt and ragged leggings combo that we’ve become surgically attached to over the course of three lockdowns.
