Have you, like us, spent most of the past year in some variant on loungewear? Whether you’ve made it out of your pyjamas into some luxury cashmere joggers (in which case, we applaud you), or you’ve donned a somewhat less luxe tracksuit look most days (the rest of us), you’re likely pretty sick of the sight of items of apparel that could, quite reasonably, be worn to bed. And yet, it is still winter. More to the point, it is still lockdown, in the unlikely event that any of us needs reminding. So, in order to amp up our spirits and feel a little less, erm, 2020, we shall be donning knitted dresses until the weather turns. Still slouchy (barring a couple of more glam numbers we’ve thrown in for good measure), they are cosy, stylish and, crucially, do not make us appear as if we’ve just rolled out of bed. Which, in fairness, we might well have done at any given hour of the day.
