There is a certain thrill that accompanies dusting down the winter coat for the first time after the long (if not, in 2021’s case, hot) summer. As a nip steals into the air, the thought of bracing walks amid gold and russet landscapes while wrapped up warm holds almost as much appeal as the blackberry and apple crumbles by the fireside we intend to reward ourselves lavishly with in their aftermath.
